Upcoming Events

Ladies Luncheon
Thursday, September 26, the Ladies Lunch Fellowship is excited to host a Bible Book Club. The group will meet for lunch at noon in the Fellowship Hall and then discuss different books of the Bible. All ladies are invited to bring a sack lunch and join us as we discuss Galatians.

Girls Ministries Sleepover
The National Girls Ministries Sleepover scheduled for Friday, September 25 at Brinkley First Assembly has been cancelled.

Young at Heart Fellowship
The Young at Heart will have a country dinner on Friday, September 25 at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Dress casual and bring your favorite country dish, meat will be provided.

Fall Fun Day at Village Creek
The Revolve youth will leave for Village Creek on Saturday, September 26 at 10:30 AM. The cost is $5. We will be cooking out and playing various outdoor games. You don’t want to miss it!

Eight Street Mission Golf Tournament
The 10th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting the 8th Street Mission is Saturday, September 26 at The Greens of Marion. For more information, please contact Richard Fritz at 901-219-8481.

Generations Sunday School Class
Generations is a new Sunday School class beginning Sunday, September 27 at 9:30 AM in the Family Life Center. It will bring your family together to read God’s Word and see it come alive in a memorable setting. No matter what your family looks like—young, older, single, married, divorced, widowed, single parent, “empty nest” or your nest is full, come be a part of a new and exciting class.

Honor Star Celebration
On Sunday, September 27, we will highlight the Honor Daisies, Prims and Stars in the 6:00 PM service. There will be a reception following service in the FLC.

Deacons Breakfast
The deacons will meet on Monday, September 28 at 6:00 AM at Shoney’s.

Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop will be open Tuesday, September 29 from 9:00-11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Come join us for a great time of fellowship.

Tuesday’s Treasures
Tuesday’s Treasures is a night of fun, fellowship and digging for treasure sponsored by Women’s Ministries Bible Studies. The first “mini-retreat” is Tuesday, September 29 at 6:00 PM. The four “nuggets” will be Health Issues by Connie Bramucci, Truths from the Bible by Dorinda Blann, Learn a New Hobby by Kay Dragges and Women’s Issues by Courtney Wilson. Deacons Meeting
The deacons meeting is Wednesday, September 30 at 7:00 PM in Pastor Rusty’s conference room.

4F Club
The 4F Club will be going to Leonard’s BBQ, Friday, October 2 for a time of fellowship. Adults of all ages are invited to attend. We will meet at the church at 6:00 PM. If you have any questions,

Men’s Breakfast
All men are invited to the Men’s Ministries breakfast on Saturday, October 3 at 8:00 AM in the Family Life Center.

Revolve at the Zoo
The Revolve Youth group will spend Saturday, October 3 at the zoo. The cost is $13 per person. Please meet at the church at 9:00 AM.

Genesis Meeting
There will be a meeting for all members of Genesis on Sunday, October 4 at 4:30 PM in the Family Life Center.

CORE Team Meeting
All members of CORE are encouraged to attend the CORE meeting on Sunday, October 4 at 6:00 PM in the Family Life Center.

Missions Convention--Feast of Nations
Wednesday, September 16, we will have our Feast of Nations at 6:30 PM in the Family Life Center with Arkansas Women's Teen Challenge.


Women’s Ministries Fundraiser
The WMs are selling tamales, enchiladas and Mexican dinner plates. Tamales and enchiladas will be $15/dozen and the plates are $10. You may place your order with any WM member by Wednesday, September 16. The pick up day is Friday, September 18 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Family Life Center.

Missions Convention
Sunday, September 20 we will close out our Missions Convention. In the AM services, Johnny Brown with FAM International will be with us and in the PM service, Brad McMath with Network 211 will speak.

Baby Shower
On Monday, September 21, we will honor Lety Smith and baby girl, Abigail with a shower in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 PM.

The 30+ Singles group has decided to make a change. We are starting a new ministry called the 4F Club which stands for fellowship, friends, fun and food. It is for adults of all ages. Our goal is to provide fellowship and develop friendships within our church family. We will meet Friday, September 11 in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 PM. Please bring a finger food and join in the fun. If you are new to our church or would like to make friends we would love for you to come and let us get to know you.

Attention All Ladies:
Our Missions Convention is September 13, 16 and 20. The Feast of Nations is Wednesday, September 16. In the past you have helped Ruby Morgan with the International Table. If you would be willing to help this year, please contact Margarette Brown at 901-647-8848. Thanks!
