Young at Heart Christmas Dinner
The Young at Heart will eat at The Pier on Friday, December 11. The bus will leave the church at 5:30 PM. 2009 yearly dues should be paid to Joanne Boatman by Friday, December 11. If you have any questions, you may contact Sue Bramucci.
Revolve’s Christmas Wrapping and Babysitting
The Revolve youth group will have a Christmas gift wrapping and babysitting (pre-school to 6th grade) fundraiser on Saturday, December 12 from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. For children staying through lunch, they will need to bring a sack lunch. Donations are appreciated. All proceeds go to Revolve Youth Ministries and Speed the Light Missions. Christmas Gift for Jesus
Sunday, December 13 in the AM services is Christmas Gift for Jesus. We will have Thomas Carpenter with Special Touch Camps. Please prayerfully consider giving at least 10% of what you spend for Christmas gifts to this ministry. In the PM service, we will have Angelia Carpenter, Arkansas District Women’s Ministries Director.
Choir Cantata
Please join us as we celebrate Christmas with music and theater. Sunday, December 20 in the AM services, the Adult Choir will perform, “Hope has Come” in the sanctuary.
Revolve Youth Christmas Play
On Sunday, December 20 in the PM service, the Revolve youth will perform a Christmas play, “Christmas Comes to Detroit, Louie” in the Family Life Center.
Office Closed
The office will be closed Thursday, December 24-Friday, December 25 for Christmas. A pastor will be on call for emergencies.
Christmas and End of the Year Services
On Sunday, December 27, we will have a Family Christmas service and Communion at 10:30 AM. Please note: we will not have a 8:00 AM or 6:00 PM service, Sunday School or children’s church.
Wednesday, December 30 is the End of the Year service from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Chic Chat
Chic Chat is a ministry of our ladies groups that meets for a time of fellowship and to encourage one another and just have fun! They meet on Wednesdays in the Fellowship Hall at 6:45 PM. If you don’t have time for supper before the service, swing through a drive thru or brown bag it and we can all eat together.
After School Music Camp
All children involved in the Christmas Musical, Angels Aware, will have an After School Music Camp Thursday, December 3 and Friday, December 4 from 3:15-4:30 PM. They have a snack in the Fellowship Hall followed by practice in the sanctuary. If you have any questions, please see Becky Harness.
4-F Club
All adults are invited to attend the 4-F Club Christmas party on Friday, December 4 at 6:00 PM at Patricia McGarrity’s home (1506 Brentwood, West Memphis). Sunday, December 6 is Senior Adult Day! Please join us in the AM services as we honor them. At 5:00 PM, we will have our All-Church Christmas dinner in the Family Life Center. If your last name begins with A-L, please bring a vegetable and dessert and M-Z, please bring a salad and dessert. Following the dinner, the children will present “Angels Aware” in the sanctuary.

Revolve Camping Discipleship Retreat
Instead of attending Youth Convention this year, the Revolve youth group will go to Village Creek for a weekend of camping, discipleship and tons of fun! The bus will leave the church on Friday, October 23 at 5:00 PM and return Sunday, October 25 at 12:00 PM.
New Member Recognition
We will recognize our new members in the 6:00 PM service, Sunday, October 25.
Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop will be open Tuesday, October 27 from 9:00-11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Come join us for a great time of fellowship.
Thanksgiving Community Outreach
This year we would like to help out families in our community during the Thanksgiving holiday with a food basket that is available through Angel Food Ministries for $36. It includes a roasting hen, boneless netted ham, frozen diced sweet potatoes, frozen corn cobbetts, frozen cranberries, ready to cook cornbread dressing, heat and serve dinner rolls, brown gravy mix and a dessert item.
The three ways to purchase one for a family in need are:
1. Order on-line at www.angelfoodministries.com to pay with a debit or credit card. (Please call the church office to notify us you have ordered one to give out.)
2. Come by the office to pay by cash or check.
3. Put money in the offering. (Please mark your envelope the money is for a Thanksgiving basket.)
The deadline to order is Wednesday, October 28 by 3:00 PM.

Wedding Shower
We will bless Coleman and Haley Wescott with a wedding shower on Sunday, November 1 at 3:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Since they will be traveling back to Virginia, please bring gift cards in lieu of gifts.
